In their home debut
Grosseto Basketball beats Scandicci 60-52. It was a difficult match for the red and whites who however managed to bring home the two points in front of the warm Maremma crowd. Ingenito‘s boys started out intimidated with the Florentines very precise in their three-pointers but remained in the game, closing the first quarter 12 to 16. In the second quarter the game did not take off, remaining seven down 25 to 32. After the interval, the team reacted greatly raising the pace with a great defense and keeping up with the Fiorentini 48 to 41. Last quarter played with heart and a lot of determination where Franzese with his 19 points, Tinti’s acrobatics and Barabesi’s solidity in rebounding extend to plus eight and close with the final result that is tinged with white and red.
