Guri KCC Aegis Junior (President Lee Seong-hwan) So-yul Kim dreams of becoming an elite player based on her love for basketball. I started playing basketball out of simple interest, but I fell in love with the charm of basketball after experiencing it firsthand.

Kim So-yul said, “At first, I thought my parents wouldn’t like me if I said I wanted to play basketball. But he said he was surprised that I worked harder than he expected. “When they see that, they tell me to work harder and support me,” he said, first expressing his gratitude to his parents.

It’s been 6 months since I started playing basketball. However, his passion for basketball is second to none. The reason Guri KCC Kim So-yul got into basketball was also unique.

Kim So-yul, who enjoyed reading webtoons, first became interested in basketball after reading the basketball webtoon ‘Garbage Time’ recommended by her cousin. Kim So-yul, who also enjoyed the basketball cartoon ‘Slam Dunk‘, even caught a basketball herself at Guri KCC.

Kim So-yul said, “In webtoon Garbage Time, Ace Seong Jun-su is good. I want to be like that person who works hard. Also, I like Kang Baek-ho in the cartoon Slam Dunk. “I first became interested in basketball after reading a webtoon, but it was even more fun when I tried it myself,” he said, explaining how he got into basketball.

Even among male students, Kim So-yul did not lose her courage. Kim So-yul, who was the only one on the court that day, trained with a bright smile without showing signs of hardship.

Kim So-yul said, “Physical training is hard, but bumping into boys is not difficult at all. Even though I’m a boy, I don’t feel pressured because I play basketball with friends who are younger than me. “I really enjoy playing basketball with my teammates,” he said, expressing his love for basketball.

He continued, “After playing basketball, my stamina got better. Now that I have physical strength, I am able to do other sports better. But it’s still not enough. I think I need to improve my physical strength more. If your height is too short, you may be pushed aside by other players. “I wish I were taller,” he wished.

An active girl who likes physical education the most at school and enjoys anything that moves her body. Among them, the girl who said she liked basketball the most talked about the new dream she found at Guri KCC.

Kim So-yul said, “Originally, I didn’t have a dream. After I started playing basketball at Guri KCC, I had a dream of becoming a basketball player. There is no position yet, but I think both guard and forward are cool positions. I am practicing my offense and dribbling hard to become good at both positions. “I want to become a good player no matter what position I play,” he said, expressing his bold ambition.
