Ibrahimov: I preferred wrestling over football

Ibrahim Ibrahimov, the British boxer, expressed his happiness with the victory in the “Battle of the Giants” fight, which is hosted by Saudi Arabia under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and organized by the Saudi Mixed Martial Arts Federation and in cooperation with the World Martial Arts League (PFL), on Saturday.
The British boxer defeated his Spanish counterpart, Nacho Campos, in the featherweight fight, which was hosted by Mayadeen Hall in Riyadh.
Ibrahimov said in his interview with Al-Riyadiya: “I am happy to achieve the victory, which gives a nice feeling. Everyone prefers and loves winning and does not like defeat, and it is nice to remain undefeated in my record.”
Regarding his favorite sport in addition to his game: “In the past, I used to play football, and also wrestling and kickboxing, and my brothers went to professional football at Manchester United and I chose another path. The British boxer continued jokingly: “When my brothers reach the first team at Manchester United, they will need someone to protect them, and I will be that person.”
