In the absence of a closing date, the representative of the south was left with the title of the season. On Saturday they defeated Hércules by 80 to 53. Santa Rosa did the same against Paracao (71-60).

Only a catastrophe could take the title away from Independiente de Neuquén. It is a reward for the sacrifice, effort and tenacity of a team full of figures. The representative of the south became champion of the 2024 Federal Women’s League, even though there is still a date left to conclude the Final Four.

On Saturday afternoon they defeated Hércules 80 to 53, an advantage that was consolidated in the last segment with a 26-6 run. The offensive repertoire was focused on four players: Natassja Kollf with 19 points, Laila Raviolo with 18, Jacqueline Soto with 17; while Julieta Tell rounded off a perfect day with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. In the Chaco team, Rocio Lezcano scored a double double of 17 points and 12 rebounds, a segment complemented by Guadalupe Goetschi’s 14.

In the night shift, Santa Rosa reversed the poor result of the debut and defeated Paracao by 71 to 60. The team sensibly and with good judgment resorted to external shots to increase the gap between both teams, with up to 14 triples converted in 30 attempts . On the local side, the comforting fact was the low accumulation of losses (2) in the 40 minutes of play. The great figure was Johanna Puchetti with 16 goals, 13 crystals and +28 rating, while Iara Bache was the scorer with 22. On the Paraná side, the most notable was María Florencia Pérez with 20 and 14. Also important were the 13 points and 13 rebounds from Grecia González, plus the 14 points contributed by Antonella Peréz.

In accordance with this coronation, Independiente de Neuquén obtained its place to participate in the next season of the Women’s League, as long as it meets the requirements imposed by the Association of Clubs (AdC) in terms of infrastructure and signs a participation guarantee for at least two seasons.
