Indeporte holds exhibitions of Associated Wrestling and Judo in primary school

• On this occasion the “Juan de la Barrera e Inzaurraga” school, in the Los Pájaros neighborhood, received these activities in the presence of 650 students


As part of the annual work plans, the Sports Institute of the state of Chiapas, through the Sports Development Directorate, held exhibitions to promote Associated Wrestling and Judo, in the facilities of the “Juan de la Barrera e” primary school. Inzaurraga”, from the Los Pájaros neighborhood of this capital city.

These activities were carried out on the field of said institution in the presence of 650 students from 1st to 6th grade in the morning shift, accompanied by their respective teachers; and where the director of the campus, Greysi Yadira Hernández Díaz, gave the words of welcome to the instructors, Magali Margarita Méndez Sánchez, from Luchas Asociadas; and Luis Alberto Damas Martínez, from Judo; as well as the Indeporte support staff.

For these activities that aim to promote physical activity through different sports disciplines, advanced students and beginners of both sports disciplines of Associated Wrestling and Judo, executed specific actions, from warm-up, physical skills, as well as some throws and keys to the training partner.

In this way, students of all grades participated with the athletes of both disciplines, with the purpose of experiencing the training experience up close. At the end of the sporting actions, each of the children was provided with the corresponding information to parents, and thus be able to take their children to the practices that are given free of charge at the Sports Institute facilities.

In an interview with the instructors, Magali Méndez Sánchez, and Luis Alberto Damas Martínez, they highlighted that these exhibitions are intended to attract all boys and girls who like the practice of these sports disciplines, who will become part of the hotbed of athletes.

Finally, the director of the “Juan de la Barrera e Inzaurraga” school, Greysi Yadira Hernández Díaz, appreciated the opportunity to take them into account to give these sports demonstrations, to motivate children to do physical activity, which has as a priority the health care, all of which is reflected in good emotional health, suitable for their academic development.
