KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian national team is currently ranked fifth in Group C standings in the 2026 World Cup Qualification event in the Asian zone.

This certainty was obtained after Indonesia shared a 2-2 draw with Bahrain in matchday third Group C.

The 2026 World Cup Qualification Group C match in the Asian zone between Bahrain vs Indonesia took place at the Bahrain National Stadium, Riffa, Thursday (10/10/2024).

The home team managed to take the lead through Mohamed Marhoon’s free kick (15′).

Before the first half ended, Ragnar Oratmangoen managed to equalize the score at 1-1 in the 45+3 minute.

Currently, Japan is trailed by Australia, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, which have scored identical points, namely four.

Australia (+1 goal difference) has the right to be above Saudi Arabia (-1) and Bahrain (-4) because of superior goal difference.
