Trofeo Italia: Ferrari comes close to the podium, Camol finishes seventh.

Podium missed today at the Trofeo Italia in Taranto, where Marco Ferrari (Dojo Sacile) narrowly missed the bronze target in the 73 kg. After two matches in which he managed to impose himself on Gennaro Baiostra (Nippon Club Giffoni) and on his fellow countryman Bryan Justin Camol (Polisportiva Tamai), Ferrari found the stop against Valerio Mazzoli (SDP) who sent him to the repechage, unfortunately lost against Josef Issan Makni (Judo Together).

Good level race –coach commented Fabio Martinuzzialso expressing Ferrari’s emotions- I’m really sorry I faced a friend (Camol Bryan from Tamai) at the second meeting. Good sensations that are starting to show the fruits of training and great regret for the medal lost due to a carelessness/carelessness that the opponent was good at exploiting in an otherwise dominated match.

Similar path for Bryan Justin Camol (Polisportiva Tamai), who, in the same category, after having got the better of Jacopo DI Bello (Menchella Club), was sent to injury time by Ferrari; here the victory over Gennaro Baiostra and then the end of the race with the defeat against Loris Cristiano (Academy CS), then the bronze medalist.

Nei 55kg Lorenzo Battistella (Polisportiva Tamai) e Luka Mottola (Dojo Sacile) unfortunately did not pass the preliminary stages, remaining far from the podium area.

On the podium of the companies Nicolaus is in the lead, followed by Harmony Club and Kumiai.

Tomorrow it will be the turn of the female representatives, Elisa Comelli (Kuroki Tarcento), Georgie Line e Alessia Viotto (Dojo Sacile).
