The official Steelers account in Spanish shared the image on Instagram, showing the player wearing a black jacket with the Pumas logo on the left side.
“Next stop: Las Vegas,” the post read, which quickly generated reactions.
The official account of the Pumas did not take long to respond to the gesture: “Here we go”, to which the Steelers responded with an enthusiastic “goya, goya”.
The felines took advantage of the occasion to invite Jefferson to visit University City:
“VanJefferson12 knows how to choose his travel outfit to Las Vegas where they will play their next NFL game. We are waiting for you soon at CU!” they wrote from the Mexican team’s account.
