Jayden Daniels wins in the most spectacular way with the Washington Commanders. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are having a hard time against the Raiders. Aaron Rodgers suffered another bitter defeat with the New York Jets.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Las Vegas Raiders 27:20
They still don’t play great football, but they still win their games. The Chiefs managed their seventh win in their seventh game against the Raiders.
The Raiders’ crucial mistake was when quarterback Gardner Minshew fumbled with 13:20 left in the final quarter. The Chiefs used the following drive to make it 27:13 and thus secure the preliminary decision with the touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes to Xavier Worthy. The Raiders reduced the deficit again with a touchdown a good two minutes before the end of the game. However, the subsequent onside kick failed.
Mahomes’ record is 262 passing yards, two touchdown passes and one interception. Raiders playmaker Minshew had 209 passing yards and two touchdown passes.
The Raiders now have a record of two wins and six losses.
Buffalo Bills @ Seattle Seahawks 31:10
The Bills literally outclassed the Seahawks and won their third game in a row. Quarterback Josh Allen had 283 passing yards, two touchdown passes and one interception.
While the Seahawks’ running game was not a factor at all, gaining 32 yards of space, the Bills were very effective here too. James Cook alone ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
Seahawks playmaker Geno Smith threw for 212 yards, but failed to pass a touchdown and threw an interception.
The Bills now have a 6-2 record, the Seahawks are 4-4.
Carolina Panthers @ Denver Broncos 14:28
Bryce Young, the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, returned to the role of starting quarterback after Andy Dalton sprained his thumb in a car accident.
The young passer found his way into the game well and gave the Panthers a 7-0 lead in the first quarter with a touchdown pass to Xavier Legette. After that, however, the Panthers completely gave up the game.
Young had ups and downs in his game. He completed 24 of his 37 pass attempts for 224 yards and threw two touchdown passes, although he also had two interceptions.
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, who was picked 12th in the 2024 draft, made a better impression and threw for 284 yards and three touchdowns, also running into the end zone himself once.
While the Broncos have a 5-3 record, the Panthers are 1-7.
New Orleans Saints @ Los Angeles Chargers 8:26
With the home win against the Saints, the Chargers have achieved a positive record of four wins and three defeats. Quarterback Justin Herbert threw for 279 yards and two touchdown passes.
The Saints continued to cope without injured quarterback Derek Carr, so backup Spencer Rattler was back on the field. Although there were no turnovers, he only completed 12 of his 24 pass attempts for 156 yards. Jake Haener later took over his role and managed 122 passing yards.
The Saints’ trend continues to point downwards: after winning the first two games of the season, this was now their sixth defeat in a row.
Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders 15:18
The duel between this year’s number 1 pick Caleb Williams (Bears) and number 2 pick Jayden Daniels (Commanders) gave the NFL one of the craziest final phases of the season.
The Bears looked like the sure winner when Roschon Johnson ran into the end zone with 23 seconds left in the game. But Daniels had the right answer ready: With two passes, he led the Commanders’ offense almost to the halfway line. On the last play of that game, he threw a Hail Mary over 52 yards into the opposing end zone, which ended up in the arms of Noah Brown. The touchdown was synonymous with the victory.
In general, Daniels delivered a significantly better game with 326 passing yards and one touchdown pass than Williams, who only had 131 passing yards and had no touchdown.
The Commanders have a 6-2 record and the Bears are 4-3.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Cincinnati Bengals 37:17
The Eagles won the third game in a row and handed the recently up-and-coming Bengals a bitter defeat. Both teams played an even game for long stretches. But after a score of 17:17 in the third quarter, the Eagles pulled away.
The Eagles’ match winner was quarterback Jalen Hurts, who threw for 236 yards and also ran into the end zone three times. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow recorded 234 passing yards, one touchdown pass and one interception.
Philadelphia now has a 5-2 record and the Bengals are 3-5.
Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns 24:29
The Ravens and the Browns fought a thrilling duel. With 2:26 minutes left in the game, the Ravens took the lead 24:23 with a touchdown and extra point. But Browns quarterback Jameis Winston, filling in for the injured Deshaun Watson, had the right answer and threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to Cedric Tillman.

The Ravens now had 59 seconds left to turn the game around again. Lamar Jackson & Co got to the opposing 24-yard line, but the last pass of the game went nowhere.
Winston had a great game with 334 passing yards and three touchdown passes. Ravens QB Jackson recorded 289 passing yards and two touchdown passes. The Browns improve to a 2:6 record, the Ravens are 5:3.
Tennessee Titans @ Detroit Lions 14:52
The Lions gave the Titans a beating. Quarterback Jared Goff proved to be very pragmatic, only managing 85 passing yards and still throwing three touchdown passes. German Amon-Ra St. Brown caught a touchdown pass.

Due to Titans quarterback Will Levis’ shoulder injury, Mason Rudolph was allowed to return as starting quarterback. With DeAndre Hopkins, who moved to the Kansas City Chiefs, an important starting point was missing, but Calvin Ridley came up trumps. He had 118 receiving yards in the first quarter alone and 143 yards over the entire game.
Rudolph (266 YDS) still proved to be very error-prone and threw two interceptions before halftime. The Lions, on the other hand, scored five touchdowns in the first half of the game alone, so they went into the break with a 35:14 lead. The lead was then expanded further.
The Lions have a 6-1 record, the Titans are 1-6.
Arizona Cardinals @ Miami Dolphins 28:27
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa made his comeback after recovering from a concussion and suffered a narrow defeat. He threw for 234 yards and a touchdown pass, but ran cautiously (16 YDS) and avoided collisions after getting injured early in the season.

The Dolphins initially took the lead 27:18 in the fourth quarter with a touchdown run by Raheem Mostert, but the Cardinals turned the game around with a touchdown run by James Conner and a field goal.
The Cardinals have a 4-4 record and the Dolphins are 2-5.
New York Jets @ New England Patriots 22:25
Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets’ crisis is coming to a head. They even suffered a defeat against the Patriots, who had previously lost six games in a row. Rodgers’ statistics read well with 233 passing yards, two touchdown passes and no turnovers. However, he made many simple mistakes, so two throws were almost intercepted. New receiver Davante Adams also remained pale and only caught four passes for 54 yards.

The Patriots suffered a major setback early in the game. As quarterback Drake Maye ran for 18 yards, he received a helmet-to-helmet hit from Jets linebacker Jamien Sherwood. The passer was removed from the game due to a possible concussion.
Jacoby Brissett took over his role and completed 15 of his 24 passes for 132 yards. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson also ran for two touchdowns.
Both teams now have a record of two wins and six defeats.
Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31:26
In a game between two teams that came into this game with a 4-3 record, the Atlanta Falcons prevailed. Quarterback Kirk Cousins was the deciding factor as he completed 23 of his 29 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns.

Due to the injuries to the two top receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay went into this game weakened. Nevertheless, quarterback Bayer Mayfield recorded a strong 330 passing yards and three touchdowns, but also threw two interceptions.
The Falcons improve their record to 5:3, the Buccaneers are 4:4.
Green Bay Packers @ Jacksonville Jaguars 30:27
Packers quarterback Jordan Love was injured early in the game and limped, returned after a break for treatment, but was later taken out of the game completely due to a groin injury.

However, backup Malik Willis proved to be a worthy representative, completing four of his five pass attempts and throwing the Packers’ only touchdown pass. The difference player was Josh Jacobs, who ran for two touchdowns. Kicker Brandon McManus completed the victory with a field goal in the last second.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence had 308 passing yards and two touchdown passes, but also had an interception and a fumble. The Packers now have a 6-2 record and the Jaguars are 2-6.
Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans 20:23
The game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans also remained open until the end. The Colts regained possession of the ball with 50 seconds to play and could have turned the game around, but the last play of the game ended in a fumble.

Texans quarterback CJ Stroud recorded a decent 285 passing yards and one touchdown pass. Running back Joe Mixon gained 134 yards and a touchdown. On the other side, Colts passer Anthony Richardson recorded 175 yards, a touchdown pass, an interception and a lost fumble.
The Texans have a 6-2 record and the Colts are 4-4.
Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers 24:30
Relief for the San Francisco 49ers, another disappointment for the Dallas Cowboys: In the Sunday Night Game, the Niners beat the guests from Texas 30:24 in front of their own crowd.
Brock Purdy in particular showed great improvement after his unsuccessful performance against the Kansas City Chiefs the previous week and was one of the main reasons for his team’s victory.
