According to the city, the construction of the ‘Happy Dream Center’, which was promoted to improve the working environment of workers in the region and enhance the convenience of local residents following the integration of the Jeongchon Industrial Complex, Puri Industrial Complex, and National Aviation Industrial Complex, has been completed.

The Happy Dream Center was selected for the ‘Community Revitalization Foundation Creation Project’ promoted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and was built with a total floor area of 2,933 m2 and two floors above ground, with a total project cost of 23.2 billion won, including 4.5 billion won in national funds and 1.35 billion won in provincial funds.

Due to its natural spatial connection with the surrounding Gangju Pond, it is expected to become another landmark around the Gangju Pond by enabling small-scale festivals centered on a separate yard, contributing to improving the convenience of residents in the southern Jinju area in the future.

The Happy Dream Center will be operated by the Jeongchon Puri Industrial Complex Resident Business Council, and its main facilities include a multi-purpose gym for local residents, a play area, a book cafe, and operating office space, meeting space, and industrial complex for the Jeongchon and Puri Industrial Complex resident businesses. ‘Gangju Book Cafe’, a book cafe where you can enjoy the Gangju Pond close by, has over 2,000 books, mainly new books and bestsellers, and there is also a special corner by author Han Kang, who has been gaining a lot of popularity due to his recent Nobel Prize in Literature award. prepared.

The industrial complex support office is leased to a company specializing in ISO certification, ESG management consulting, and labor consulting in accordance with the demand from companies residing in the Jeongchon/Puri Industrial Complex, so that companies residing in the industrial complex can receive corporate support services from a short distance.

The ‘Southern Health Promotion Public Health Center’ will also be located on the second floor of the Happy Dream Center.

A health promotion-type public health branch is a new type of public health branch that provides more diverse and systematic medical and health services than existing general public health branches in order to improve the health of citizens.

In addition to basic medical treatment, we operate disease prevention and health-related education and programs such as registration and education for patients with high blood pressure and diabetes, dementia screening (CIST), mobile health care business, and smoking cessation clinic. The Southern Health Promotion Public Health Branch is scheduled to officially open in January 2025 after pilot operation.
