Mannheim/Speyer. The Sport Awards of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region were presented yesterday evening in Mannheim’s Rosengarten. In fact, we were very surprised ourselves when the Speyer Judo Sports Club was able to accept the trophy for its exemplary achievements in inclusive sports. TV Sennfeld and TV Schwetzingen were also nominated. Everyone does an excellent job in their efforts to convey the joy of exercise to people with and without disabilities. According to Andrea Michels, managing director of the Rhine-Neckar sports region, the decisive factors were the JSV’s long-standing commitment and the wide range of offerings for young and old.

We are proud and very happy: the year 2024, especially the month of October, has been outstanding so far: first the women’s Bundesliga wins the championship title, then young fighter Alesia Bütner wins gold at the European Cup, and now the award for our social commitment – it really doesn’t get any better!
