Judo for children and young people with visual impairments

The judo division of SV Nienhagen warmly invites children and young people with visual impairments to become part of our new training group. Our goal is to learn the basics of judo and promote values such as self-confidence, appreciation and tolerance in a safe and supportive environment.

Judo not only offers coordination and fitness challenges, but also trains social skills. In special training sessions for people with visual impairments, we would like to give participants the opportunity to try things out in a protected environment. There is also the chance to apply the techniques learned together with other judoka in an inclusive training session.

“We are pleased to be able to draw on the valuable experience of Carmen and Ramona Brussig, who support our group as sponsors. Both have won numerous medals in Paralympic competitions and support us with their knowledge and expertise. The training is open to everyone, regardless of background or individual abilities. We want to create an environment in which everyone feels welcome. We look forward to your interest for further information and registration. We are looking forward to many new faces and to experiencing the values of judo together!” says the invitation.
