There were three events for the athletes of the Ravenna Village Sports Center last weekend.

On Saturday 19th a group of rookies were involved in the Gran Prix of Taranto, a race valid for the acquisition of points for the ranking list and which saw the presence of the best Italian athletes in the category. Accompanied by the coach Matteo Tufariello, Davide Tufariello ranked in seventh place after six fights in the up to 50kg category, demonstrating that he can compete on equal terms with the best Italian judokas. Two fights for Kevin Canale, who will be able to demonstrate all his value in the Rookie B category also in 2025. Three fights also for a combative Diego Tuffariello, excellent race and a lot more experience for him.

On Sunday 20th, followed by technicians Andrea Guadagnini and Erik Flamigni, the rookie B and Cadet classes were present. Martina Conficconi 48kg rookies, Francesco Visani 46kg rookies, Amos Montanari 60kg rookies, Filippo Belletti 55kg cadets climb to the top step of the podium by winning their respective categories. Second place Francesco Giuliano 46kg debutants A and Bohdan Mantseniuk 45kg. Third place debutants Daniele Capodieci 50kg debutant A and Lauren Allushai 60kg debutants B. Placements just outside the podium for Marcel Flamigni, Omar Dammak, Zizzamia Stephanie and Gianfranco Capodieci.

Also on Sunday in Spilambergo the 60th International City of Mosaic Trophy took place, where, followed by the coach Nicola Marzucco, the three athletes present, Michela Cicchetti, Michele Fabbri and Simone Rustignoli performed well, winning several matches, but without reaching the podium .

Finally, it is worth remembering the goal achieved last Sunday by the athlete Asia Gianese, who, with the fifth place achieved in the Turin Grand Prix, achieved the prestigious black belt in her first year in the Junior class.
