With great pride, the Aguascalientes judo team returned with important victories from the “Prof. Daniel F. Hernández” National Tournament, held this weekend in Morelia, Michoacán. The young athletes demonstrated their talent and dedication, managing to get on the podium in various categories.
In the Pre-Child category, Lía Odalis Ibarra Esparza won the gold medal in the -30 kg division. In the Children’s A Sub 13 category, the achievements continued with Mateo Silva Córdova, who took the bronze medal in -42 kg. Héctor Abraham Preciado Salas added another bronze medal in -52 kg, while León Enrique Arjona Ayala won silver in +52 kg.
In the Children’s B Sub 15 category, Renata Yanilen Marmolejo Aguilar won a bronze medal in the -40 kg division, and Keila Sofía Ibarra Esparza won silver in -48 kg. Finally, in the same -40 kg division, Efrén Alejandro Juárez González also won a silver medal.
These results reaffirm the commitment of Aguascalientes athletes to sporting excellence, consolidating the state as a benchmark in national judo.
