Slafkovský traditionally played the match on the wing of the elite formation with captain Suzuki and Cole Caufield. He spent 19:59 minutes on the ice and added two negative points, three shots and three hits to his statistics. After four games played, he maintains an average of one point per game with a record of 1+3.
The three-point (1+2) striker Yevgeny Malkin, who is one shot short of the 500-goal goal, had the most significant contribution to the guests’ victory. His teammate Sidney Crosby did not score and remains one point shy of 1,600 in the regular season.
The hockey players of New York Rangers defeated Detroit for the fourth time in a row, when they triumphed at home 4:1. Three assists were attributed to Artemij Panarin, who had a multi-point game in all three duels in the season.
In a battle between teams that started the season with two losses, the players of the New York Islanders won 6:2 on the ice of Colorado. Striker Brock Nelson contributed two goals to the guests’ victory.
The duel had a special flavor for the guest coach Patrick Roy, who spent a large part of his goalkeeping career in the home Colorado jersey and made his first appearance on the opponent’s bench in a familiar environment. The Avalanche conceded up to 20 goals in three games – the most in the league.
