The company Kodokan Cuneo participated in the “City of Asti Cup”, held on Sunday 20 October. It was the first seasonal competition and competitive and pre-competitive athletes took part, coming from different regions and other nations such as Bosnia. The overall level of competition was very high.
In the morning, in the CATEGORY Beginners B, MATEI TURCANU MARIA (63 kg) ranked at SECOND PLACEwinning two matches but losing the final; CISSE KINDANA SANDRA (+70 kg) competing in a round-robin format, she played three matches, winning two and losing one against the winner of the Italian Trophy and finished in SECOND PLACE.
In the afternoon, the younger athletes took to the tatami and competed according to another regulation, using protected judo.
In the CATEGORY CHILDREN, FRANCIS BATTLE, CRUCIANU FILIP A. e MINNICINO SAVIO they got on the HIGHER STEP OF THE PODIUM while EU CASH MIA e ROSSI MARCO they ranked at THIRD PLACE.
In the CATEGORY CHILDREN, INSOLIA NICOLO’ e CARLEVARIS AMELIE they conquered the THIRD STEP FROM THE PODIUM.
In the last category, that of BOYS, OF THE AQUILA AURORA e MANDRILE MATTEO they got two brilliants FIRST PLACESdemonstrating great technique and determination.
The coaches declared themselves very satisfied with the performances of their athletes and what they showed in the competition. They stressed that it is only the beginning of the season and that there is a lot of room for improvement. THE’I commit and theAttention will be fundamental to achieving the next objectives.
