The English club is considering signing the West Ham player to replace the Egyptian
Mohamed Salah‘s departure from Liverpool is almost a reality. The right winger is playing for several teams in Saudi Arabia and the MLS. Salah ends his contract with the ‘Reds’ on June 30, 2025. At the moment, the Egyptian does not seem like he will renew. Starting in January, the player will be able to sign a contract with any club.
The option that the Merseyside team is considering to replace their star is Mohammed Kudus. The Ghanaian arrived at West Ham in the summer of 2023 from Ajax in exchange for 43 million euros.
Liverpool would have to spend a considerable amount
Mohammed Kudus has a release clause of £85m. Since West Ham presumably do not want to sell the player, Liverpool would have to pay an amount close to this price.
Kudus has made a huge impact since arriving in the Premier League. His versatility, being able to play both on both wings and in the centre, makes him a player who would fit very well with the Anfield board.
