The 17-year-old was in brilliant form at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, as Hansi Flick’s men extended their lead to six points at the top of the standings with a resounding 4-0 win over Real Madrid.
Scoring Barcelona’s third goal into the top corner of Real Madrid’s goal which was guarded by Andriy Lunin, Lamine mocked Vinicius Junior by imitating his celebratory dance with Alejandro Balde, and also pointed out the name on his back in front of the home fans like Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo once did at Camp Nou.

He also successfully scored Barcelona’s fourth goal after kicking a shot over Andriy Luni’s head. In the mixed zone after the match, Lamine also joked that it was great to hear Barcelona fans screaming more than Madrid fans in the stadium.
“It’s very nice when you can hear your fans more than your opponent’s fans in the stadium,” said Lamine Yamal, quoted by Forbes.
Lamine also quipped to Madrid fans that as a left-handed player he could not possibly score goals with his right foot. In fact, Lamine managed to score two goals against Madrid, all of them using his right foot.
“We thought you didn’t have a right foot,” said Lamine, quipping at Madrid fans.
Lamine Yamal also spoke about the words of Madrid players who said they had never faced elite competition in the Spanish League because they considered Barcelona to be a mid-table team.
“When we won at the start of La Liga, they were called mid-table rivals. However, now we have beaten the two best teams in the world in one week,” said Lamine.
Before beating Madrid 4-0, Barcelona first destroyed Bayern Munich 4-1 in the Champions League four days ago.
“We have to keep going. We will enjoy a few days off and then think about Espanyol,” said Lamine.
