It’s a team that plays with great enthusiasm, their full score in the standings is very deserved. For our part, victories help us to work better, to have confidence, to understand that in teams that have 12 players like us, any player can be the protagonist in one match, not be the protagonist in another, play more, to play less or not to play at all, but it doesn’t change our concept which is to grow as a team and pass on the concept of a team that wants to try to compete every match. Obviously we have great ambition, as every team in Serie A and every player must have; it’s a natural thing when you play at this level. The important things are the desire and need to improve yourself, the desire and need to be the best version of yourself. It was a great week of training and I think our guys are ready to take another step in the right direction. This week we started training lightly and then increased the intensity in the last few days to start raising the level of competitiveness. One of the things you notice when preparing to face this Coach and his team is that we will have to be at the best of our ability when the ball comes on Saturday, so we didn’t want to overdo it but we wanted to find the right balance to be ready. We will find out on Saturday evening if we did things in the right way, but I appreciated the team’s competitive spirit: they prepared well both individually and when we all trained together, we will see what the results will be on Saturday.
