King LeBron James experienced a new night on Tuesday “unforgettable” in his prestigious NBA career, when he played a few minutes with his son Bronny at the season opener with the Los Angeles Lakers.
“That moment, when we entered the field, I will never forget it, even if I become very old, even if my memory fades little by little with age. Whatever happens, this moment will remain unforgettable,” said the player with four NBA titles, who starts at 39 (he will be 40 in December) his 22e season, while his son took his first steps in the league at age 20.
“Everything was great today”
“Obviously, this is the first time in the magnificent history of the NBA that a father and son have found themselves on the same floor, let alone being on the same team. It was really nice,” he added after the Lakers’ victory over Minnesota (110-103).
Bronny James played barely three minutes and missed both shots. But he won’t forget this moment either “energy” received from the public : “I try not to focus too much on everything that’s happening around me. I tried not to mess it up completely. But I definitely felt the energy,” he commented.
Before ending his day with this historic match, LeBron James celebrated the tenth birthday of his daughter Zhuri Nova. “Everything has been great today, everything since I got up this morning,” he savored.
