Isac Lidberg continues to impress.
When Darmstadt defeated Cologne 4-1, it was another complete hit.
This means that he now steps up into shared shooting league lead.

Isac Lidberg had a shaky season last year in Utrecht, which was largely characterized by injury problems and missed playing time. Thus, few raised an eyebrow when he was bought off by Darmstadt during the summer.

It has since been a success there and before the meeting with Köln the striker was noted for six goals in as many appearances and on Friday it rang again.

Among other things, Lidberg was involved in playing forward colleague Fraser Hornby for the 2-1 goal at the end of the first half and after 54 minutes of play, Lidberg would also get on the scoresheet.

Then it was time for Hornby to pay back when he played up to Lidberg who was then able to send in his seventh goal of the season, a mark that means he moves up into joint scoring league lead with Hamburg’s Robert Glatzel.

After Lidberg’s 3-1 goal, Darmstadt could also determine the final score 4- and 5-1 and this means that Darmstadt secures the second win of the season in nine games.
