Lots of news at the Cahors Tennis Club – Medialot

Overview of the results.

The last few days have been very busy at TC Cahors, starting with the club’s general meeting on Friday October 18. With a number of licensees of 511 for the 2024 season, President Jean-Michel Inesta was able to draw up a very positive assessment and congratulate himself on the good health of the club which rode the Olympic wave by offering activities all summer, in particularly around pickelball. The evening continued around a convivial time and the presentation of vests to the new initiators who had joined the team supervised by coach Philippe Cujus.

The next day, the competition resumed with a women’s TMC over two days. Each participant had to play three matches. On Sunday evening, the tournament delivered its verdict by designating Juliette Juen winner in the final against Elena Camillo Jaquez. Youth was therefore in the spotlight on the courts!

On Wednesday, it was up to the boys to take over with a TMC 13/14 year old. Lucas Vila won the super tie-break against Basile Caceres.

On Saturday, the women’s team in Gan +35 traveled to Saint-Etienne-de-Tulmont. The Cadurciennes lost in the super tie-break of the decisive doubles. The final score was therefore 2/3.

Finally, this last weekend of October, all the facilities were occupied by two male TMCs: a table of 16 players from the fourth series (4 maths per player) and a table of 12 competitors from the third series (3 or 4 matches each ).

In the fourth series, Arthur Chedal (Cahors) completed the perfect course and won in the final over Louis Delcros (Luzech). In the third heats, Mickaël Martins took the lead over his teammate, Mahé Bearn after dark…
