In the letter, sent from the Ministry of Justice to prosecutors in Goiás, there is information that a criminal investigation has been launched in Spain into an alleged “criminal organization dedicated to manipulating results in sports betting“. The document reveals a connection between Luiz Henrique and Bruno Lopez de Moura, appointed as head of a results manipulation gang. According to Operation Maximum Penalty investigations, the businessman was an intermediary between bettors and players, and they were paid to receive yellow cards.

Luiz Henrique cited in old investigation
The attacker Botafogohad his name linked to the case of misconduct with bets in which Lucas Paquetá was reportedin May.
