Uruapan, Mich, October 19, 2024.- A man hacked to death his father, who had previously injured him with a knife, in the Annex San Rafael neighborhood, near the Pemex plant, in this municipality of Uruapan.
It was this Saturday afternoon, when the situation was reported to the emergency systems, so local police and paramedics went to the site, who confirmed the death of a person of approximately 60 years of age, who had injuries caused by a machete.
In addition, the first responders helped the deceased’s son and took him to a hospital, where he was admitted with police guard. The identity of those involved was not revealed by the authorities.
Unofficially, it was mentioned that father and son had a heated argument in which the sexagenarian attacked his son with machetes, who was injured, but managed to disarm him and with the same weapon attacked his father until he killed him.
The area was cordoned off by the uniformed officers and the intervention of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Justice was requested to process the crime scene, remove the body and initiate the corresponding investigation file.
