Marc Marquez sets the best time in Thailand GP practice

Ducati rider Marc Marquez set the best time in the practice session this Friday during the Thai GP. The Spaniard also broke the circuit record.

Spaniard Marc Marquez continues to impress. The Ducati Gresini rider came first in the free practice session for the Thai Grand Prix ahead of Ducati Pramac rider Jorge Martin. Marquez set a time of 1’29″165, which is the new circuit record. He is ahead of Martin by 11 hundredths and Enea Bastianini, Ducati rider, by 16 hundredths. On the French side, Johann Zarco, Honda rider, managed to stay in the top 10. He ranks 51 hundredths behind Marc Marquez. Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) has long held the best time in 1’29″822. But the former world champion finally finished with the 12th time, which will force him to go through the first qualifying phase on Saturday.
