It was the year 1959 when inside the Lecco rowers the first Lecco section dedicated to judo was born. A story of excellence, that of Judo Club Samurai Leccocollected in a book written on the occasion of the 50th year of activity: from here we learn that there were 1,016 competitions in which the association took part, which brought 5 Fijlkam competitions to Lecco and over time – among other things – he also organized 8 judo camps in Barzio. The Lecco club also has sections in Canzo and Ace, Merone, Villa San Carlo inside the Gso premises, Ballabio with the Asc ea Malgrate.

The Meritorious Master Gerolamo Pirola

Martina Mariani she is the standard bearer: born in 2000, 9th in the national ranking list, she won the silver medal at the last national university championships and is 7th in the Italian Championships.
