Currently Martin is 22 points ahead of Bagnaia who has 411 points. Mathematically, if Bagnaia wins the remaining five races, then the racer who will be the 2022 and 2023 MotoGP champion will collect 510 points.

Meanwhile, if Martin continues to consistently rank second in the remaining five races, the Pramac Ducati racer will win 60 points from the full race and 18 points from the sprint race. So Martin’s total points will reach 511 points.

Martin did not want to be careless in responding to these calculations. The Spaniard would like to win if he can do it. Apart from that, Martinator also understands that Bagnaia can show a different performance in the full race.

“We’ll see in the next race. But I don’t know. We’ll see, maybe tomorrow I won’t be in second place. I will try 100 percent of my ability, Pecco will be very strong,” said Martin, quoted from Crash.

“I will try to play smart. Of course my competition is with him [Bagnaia]. If I can, then I will win. But there are other challenges. It will be very difficult. Pecco usually performs better on Sundays, so I need improvement too,” he added.
