Bek U-17 Indonesian National Team Mathew Baker gave his opinion after the Garuda Muda team tested twice against Qatar.
The Indonesian U-17 national team is currently undergoing a training camp in Qatar as part of preparations for the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification.
In this TC, the U-17 Indonesian National Team held trials against Qatar in two matches.

In the first trial match, Nova Arianto’s team won 2-1, last Sunday (6/10).
Then in the second trial, the Indonesian National Team drew 1-1 against Qatar, Wednesday (9/10).
Indonesian U-17 National Team defender Mathew Baker saw positive results from two trials against Qatar.
“Qatar were a tough and aggressive opponent, we played tight, they played good football. We won the first match 2-1, and then drew the second match 1-1. I think that match will help us in preparation for Qualification U-17 Asian Cup,” said Mathew Baker, quoted from the PSSI release.
Baker also assessed that in general the Indonesian U-17 National Team’s training camp (TC) in Qatar was going well and comfortably.
“I really enjoy taking part in this TC and can gain experience too. I am also happy because the coach, team, staff are also good and the training is also good,” said Mathew Baker.
The Indonesian U-17 national team will compete in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification in Kuwait from 23 to 27 October.
In this event the U-17 Indonesian National Team was joined in Group G with Australia, Kuwait and the Northern Mariana Islands.
