Mazamet. Archery: national performance for Coralie Corbec

Last Sunday, there was a crowd at the Mazamétain convention center where the annual archery competition was taking place, qualifying for the French championships. The local association of “Archers of the Black Mountain”, chaired by Thierry Domps, was involved in the organization and a large number of enthusiasts had traveled from all over the South of France. Nearly 80 archers lined up on the shooting range and, with guides, logistics and supporters, there were a lot of people for a warm but very concentrated atmosphere.

Two referees, Eric Michenet, responsible, with Christian Gonzalez and on the club side, Sylvain Tillier in charge of the tables, completed a well-established organization. As for the results, it should be noted, in para shooting, Potence 2 category, the feat of Coralie Corbec, from Saint-Gaudens, who twice improved the best national performance, bringing it to 576 points out of 600. Laurent Fournier from Carcassonne also stands out at 468 points.

As for compound bows, we note: U21 men: Nathan Docquois; Senior 1 lady: Marina Brun, Marion Nuvoloso; man: Gaspard Lemoine, Mathieu Salas; Seniors 2 ladies: Véronique Homo; man: Jérôme Besse, Seniors 3 women: Mireille Mistral; man: Laurent Docquois. Finally, in the bare bow, Jean-Philippe Pogam emerged victorious.
