He also stated that thanks to the contribution generated by the marketing studies and destination satisfaction indices that have been carried out every year since 2011, which allows for the professionalization of decisions in favor of the projection of the destination and the common good.
“It is no longer valid to divide Mazatlán, but we have to see it as one,” Manguart Sánchez stressed, “We are in other times where we must think about the common good day by day.”
Today is a historic day where it is the first time that Mazatlán wins this distinction at the national level where businessmen, destination representatives of USA & CAD attend, within the framework of the Cancun Travel Mart.
More than 35 awards are also given to hoteliers in the country, tour operators, and theme parks in Mexico and the United States.
This recognition will be received by the 3 Islas de Mazatlán Hotel Association and the State Secretary of Tourism.
Among the awarded destinations are a destination from the US and a destination from Canada.
