Morelia, Michoacán, October 19, 2024.- Michoacán is the epicenter of Mexican judo at the moment thanks to the national tournament that takes place in the facilities of the Morelia Convention and Exhibition Center (Ceconexpo), classified as a great venue, not only for its infrastructure, but for the warmth of its people. , mentioned the president of the specialty federation, Lilian Estrada Bautista.
He thanked the State Government for the facilities for the development of this event, particularly the honorary president of the Board of Trustees of the DIF Michoacán System, Grisel Tello Pimentel, for the hospitality with which the more than 700 competitors from the 28 associations of judo from the different states of the country.
For his part, the refereeing coordinator of the Mexican Judo Federation, Adrián Lizárraga Mora, agreed that Michoacán has established itself as a great venue to develop this discipline, since it has provided all the tools for the referees to perform in the best possible way. forms their work and thereby maintains a high competitive level.
The marathon day of the Prof. Daniel F. Hernández National Judo Tournament takes place in the vicinity of the Ceconexpo in Morelia; Admission is free to the public and concludes on Sunday, October 20 with the senior categories.
