Missionary Sports Games: the classifieds

In recent days, the disciplines that had competitions in venues such as Posadas and Oberá were rhythmic gymnastics, tennis, 7-a-side hockey (male/female), badminton, beach handball, table tennis, archery and adapted sports such as swimming, tennis table and boccia.

The Missionary Sports Games promote internal competition, they are the meeting point for young people and at the same time they represent the Evita National Sports Games that are held in Mar del Plata, this year from November 4 to 9.

The futsal tournaments (male/female) are scheduled for the last days of this week, which will be this Friday from 9 at the CeDeMu in Puerto Rico; and volleyball (male/female), on Saturday from the same time at CePARD, Posadas.

The results and classifieds of the finals of the last five days.

Rhythmic Gymnastics. The final was held at the CePARD sports center, supervised by the Missionary Gymnastics Federation. Six teams from five schools participated. Victoria School (Alem), Weisse School (Posadas), Puerto Rico School 1 and 2, San Vicente School and Oberá Municipal School. The presentations were in Manos Libres and Aro. The winning and classified team was from the Oberá Municipal School, made up of gymnasts Alexa Kozakiewicz, Abril Mielniczuk, Cecilia Ruschel, Brenda Kubski Mussi and Indiana Poliszczuk, along with teachers Natalia Ottaviano and Sol Correa.

Tennis. The competition venue was the CePARD courts, with the participation of Mateo Ríos, Bruno Graef, Daniel Fritz, Dante Zipiliván, Franco De Lima, Valentín Koch, Emiliano Ast, Antonia González, Hannah Valenzuela, Estefanía Iwanczuk and Agostina Pons, representatives of Eldorado, Oberá, Alem and Posadas. In the women’s tournament the podium was made up of 1-Valenzuela; 2-Pons; and 3-Micolis, all from Posadas. Among the men, meanwhile, the podium was determined with 1-Zipilivan; 2-Rivers; and 3-Graef, also from the capital city. Qualification for the national level corresponds to the winner of each tournament, that is, Valenzuela and Zipilivan.

Men’s Hockey 7. The final was played on one of the CePARD fields with the participation of Yarará (Puerto Esperanza) and CEF nº 22 (Posadas). It was defined in a match with a 2-0 victory for Yarará. In this way, the Esperanza team won the title and qualified for the Evita National Games for the ninth time.

Women’s Hockey 7. Cataratas Fenix ​​(Iguazú) participated on the synthetic field of the Ian Barney II Stadium; Garuhapé Municipal School; Oberá Hockey and Guaraní Antonio Franco (Posadas). After playing all against all, Guaraní finished at the top of the standings with 9 points, was the champion team and qualified for the national level. The final positions were: 1st-Guaraní; 2º-Oberá; 3rd-Phoenix; 4º-Garuhapé.

Adapted Swimming. The headquarters of the competition, under the mixed modality, was at the San Isidro Aquatic Center, in the city of Posadas. According to the results, the classified team was determined: Paloma Guadalupe Gamarra (Posadas), Tayna Jureis (Posadas), Eduardo Vera Villaverde (Jardín América), Mía Agostina Fagundez (San Vicente), Mateo Espíndola (San Vicente), Máximo Stepaniuk (Oberá).

Badminton. The tournament was held in the city of Monte Carlo, exactly at the Gimnasia club. Results. Women’s singles: 1st-Ariane Dreguer (Monte Carlo); 2nd-Aylen Bauer (Monte Carlo); 3rd-Luz María Chamorro (Oberá); 4th-Fiorella Gonzales (Monte Carlo). Men’s singles: 1st Agustín Franco (Oberá); 2nd-Tomas Raddatz (Monte Carlo); 3rd-Tomás Alderete (Monte Carlo); 4°-Ignacio Vera Escalante. Mixed Doubles: 1st-Ariane Dreger/Álvaro Machado; 1st María Luz Chamorro/ Segundo Almirón (Oberá); and 3rd-Camila Vera Escalante/Tomás Raddatz. Based on these results and the regulations, the team classified for the Evita National Games was made up of Agustín Franco (Oberá), Ariane Dreguer (Monte Carlo), Aylen Bauer (Monte Carlo) and Álvaro Machado (Monte Carlo).

Beach Handball. The beach sports space located in front of the Ian Barney sports complex hosted the beach handball tournaments. In the women’s competition the clubs Germano Argentino (San Vicente), BOP nº 5 (Candelaria) and Escuela Municipal Akua Oberá played; while among the men Germano Argentino (San Vicente), Oberá Handball and a team from Posadas competed. The representatives (female and male) of Zone 4, which were Monte Carlo teams, were also registered, but for particular reasons they decided not to participate. The girls from Candelaria and Oberá defined the classification in a very even match, which after equal sets concluded with the Candelaria team as winner of the Shoot Out series. Among the men, the winner and classified was Oberá Handball, with teacher Ángel Dalmau as coach and reference of the discipline.

Table tennis. The tournament was played at the Ian Barney II Stadium, under the supervision of the Missionary Table Tennis Federation (FeMiTeM). Results: Ladies Individual: 1-Siomara Da Silva (Puerto Rico); 2-Milagros Gudnes (Monte Carlo); 3-Milka Purtik (Oberá): Ladies Team: 1-Puerto Rico; 2-Oberá. Individual Gentlemen: 1-Jhon Juan Bautista (Puerto Rico); 2-Cristobal Urbieta (Alem); 3-Máximo Báez (Campo Grande); 3-Emiliano Jabovski (Enchanted Leap). Knights Team: 1-Campo Grande; 2-Puerto Rico; 3-Oberá.

Adapted Table Tennis. The tournament was also at Ian Barney II Stadium. Results. Categories. Class 6 and 7. 1st-Andersson Willenberg (CEFE 2); 2-Josue Zabala (CEFE 2); Class 11: 1st-Federico Correa (CEFE 2); 2nd-Ana Martínez (CEFE 1); 3rd-Tomás Caballero (CEFE 1); 3rd-Valentin Zajak (CEFE 1). Those classified were Willemberg (motor), Zabala (motor) and Correa (Intellectual).

Bowl: The competition was held in one of the gyms of the Ian Barney sports complex with the oversight task of the Special Physical Education Center No. of Oberá and determined Jeremi Correa Lindquist (BC3) and Eduardo Cuenca (BC1) as classified.

Archery. The provincial final took place at CePARD, with the participation of archers from the German Argentine Cultural Center (Alem), CAPRI (Posadas), Tupambae Archery School (San Antonio), Capioví Archery, Physical Education Center No. 4 (Alem) and Campo Grande Municipal Archery School. The podium in women’s under-16 Recurve was made up of 1-Alma Magalí Villalba Andino (San Antonio); 2-Jazmín De Inmaculada Neriz (San Antonio; 3-Saharay Vivas Ricardo (CAPRI); and in men’s under-16 Recurve: 1-Gonzalo David Miranda (Alem); 2-Tiziano Fabricio Cuella (San Antonio); and 3-Bruno Marchuk (Campo Grande). The supervision of the tournament was in charge of the Missionary Archery Association.

Also attending the tournament, accompanying and encouraging the participants, was Milena Holod, champion of the discipline in the U-14 category at the Evita 2022 National Games. The young representative of CAPRI proudly showed the cup won at the premiere of Archery in the JNE.
