The NFL trade market has been unusually active this year ahead of the November 5th trade deadline. But here’s the move that could scare the rest of the NFL the most. Kansas City Chiefs acquisition veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins, 32, isn’t necessarily the All-Pro caliber player he was during his time with the Houston Texans, but he’s still a proficient receiver, with 1,057 yards in 2023 despite catching passes from Ryan Tannehill (who doesn’t have an NFL job). this year) and rookie Will Levis. Hopkins should address a key need for Kansas City following the loss of Laci Rice and help Patrick Mahomes, who is coming off his worst statistical season as a starter. Mahomes has surpassed 300 passing yards only once and has two more interceptions (eight) than touchdown passes (six).
