The Spanish badminton player Carolina Marín is clear that it would be “a dream” for her to retire in her native Huelva if it finally hosts the 2026 European Championship, but that it is something that is not considered because it does not depend on her in its entirety, while Once he puts an end to his sporting career, his desire “is to be able to help the new generations.”

“It would be a dream to retire at home, but I don’t want to consider it yet because it depends on many things that I can’t control,” Marín admits in an interview facilitated by ‘Helios’, a brand of which he is the image of its ‘Pride of Origin’ campaign. .

The triple world champion does not hide that she would like to “stay linked to badminton” and be able to “return everything” it has given her. “My desire is to be able to help new generations and, from my experience, contribute in other areas outside of sport,” he emphasizes.

“It is true that my life has been different from that of other people my age, but I have also achieved unique things. I have simply followed the path that my career required, and I am proud of what I have achieved,” she adds.
