Jamal Murray becomes the master of style with his distinctive shoes in Season 2. There are also new rewards and music from EMPIRE
2K announces today that the NBA® 2K25 Season 2 launches with new content and rewards for MyCAREER, MyTEAM, The W Online and more to coincide with the start of the 2024-2025 NBA season.
Season 2 of NBA 2K25 is led by Denver Nuggets star point guard and NBA champion Jamal Murray. Players can look forward to content that is out of this world. This includes an in-game version of Murray’s New Balance TWO WXY v5 shoes, new songs and digital clothing from EMPIRE – the soundtrack partner for Season 2 – as well as new rewards and updates along the most popular game modes NBA 2K25.

NBA 2K25 Season 2 includes exciting updates for the following game modes:
- My career: Players can unlock new rewards by leveling up from 1 to 40. This includes content such as Stuff the Magic Dragon mascot at level 20, the Media Day hairstyle at level 23 and the mummy costume at level 39. Season 2 also introduces the 2K x New Balance TWO WXY v% shoes at level 32, which are available from the NBA 2K25 gem and diamond tiers are inspired. End the season with a +1 Cap Breaker at level 40, allowing attributes to be upgraded beyond their maximum potential.
- My team: Season 2 introduces new MyTEAM cards, including high-profile players from the modern NBA, Hall of Fame wingers with a knack for scoring, and a number of powerful guards, most notably Jamal Murray. Players can secure their MyTEAM roster for the start of the 2024-2025 NBA season with a Level 1 Sapphire Jamal Murray card, which includes evolution entitlement to an 89 overall Ruby. To continue their progression, players can unlock cards such as an Amethyst Obi Toppin at level 20, Diamond James Worthy at level 35 and, as the ultimate reward, a Pink Diamond Tyrese Hailburton at level 40.
- Season Pass: NBA 2K25 Season 2 includes 40 levels with rewards and players can access 40 more levels with premium content such as the Moondog Cleveland Cavaliers Mascot, the Rocky Denver Nuggets Mascot, the Emissive Mummy Costume, up to 45,000 VC and Level 40 with the Season Pro Pass* Pro Pass Pink Diamond Tyrese Hailburton Unlock Card.
- The W Online**: As the WNBA Finals approach, players can compete in The W Online to unlock appropriate Halloween cosmetics, VC, and exclusive in-game content like the Sheryl Swoopes Coach Card and Game Changer Jersey. Seasonal rewards also include a Scorpio Hoodie, Witch Hat and a selection of other exciting gear.
- 2K Beats: In Season 2, the 2K Beats team joins forces with EMPIRE, the renowned San Francisco label, distributor and publisher known for its modern approach to the digital music era. Players can look forward to a playlist featuring rising icons and multi-platinum and award-winning artists such as 310babii, Lil Yee & Lil Pete, Babyface Ray, BabyTron and many more.
NBA 2K25 is for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and the PC available.
