NBA: another injury for Kawhi Leonard

The 33-year-old winger’s ordeal continues. He will not be at the official start of the NBA season.

After missing the entire pre-season Los Angeles Clippers, Kawhi Leonard is rumored to miss the official start of the season. The information was communicated Thursday by ESPN.

Suffering from inflammation in his right knee, Leonard and the Clippers agreed not to rush his recovery and to work on a more constant presence of the playmaker during the regular phase of the NBA season.

After the departures of Paul George (Philadelphia 76ers) and Russell Westbrook (Denver Nuggets), much of the team’s offensive load will fall on James Harden. The playmaker will play alongsideIvica Zubac, Norman Powell et Terance Mann to try to keep the Clippers in the race for the play-offs until Leonard returns.
