Another victory for the Boston Celtics, the reigning NBA champions, who prevailed at the home of the Washington Wizards in their first away match of the season. The Dallas Mavericks also confirmed their high levels and, thanks to the now usual monster performance of LuKa Docic, comprehensively beat the San Antonio Spurs. The Denver Nuggets, however, got off to a bad start, beaten at home by Oklahoma City led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren. An away victory also for the Minnesota Timberwolves at home to the Sacramento Kings.
