The Brooklyn Nets have decided to release Killian Hayes, the former No. 7 pick in the 2020 draft, ESPN journalist Shams Charania reported.
Hayes, who signed as an agent on September 20 for a non-guaranteed year, is injured in his hip and will try to remain associated with the New York franchise during his recovery, as it is believed he could play for the Long Island Nets in the G League.
The native of Lakeland (Florida) with a French passport has played 210 official games in the NBA in four years, recording 2.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 26.1 steals in 8.1 minutes per day achieved.
