The Ministry of Human Development, Local Governments and Women reported that the province is preparing to face this new version of the competition in 19 disciplines, including three adapted sports.

Neuquén will be presented with a delegation made up of 211 participants, including athletes, coaches and companions, and the teams will participate in the classic sports of the Evita Games from recent editions such as boxing; gymnastics in its rhythmic and artistic modalities; rugby (will go with a women’s team); 3×3 basketball; taekwondo, beach handball; beach volleyball; badminton, and in new disciplines such as canoeing, hockey, freestyle, BMX cycling, Olympic lifting and archery and rifle shooting.

In adapted sports, you will have representatives in athletics, swimming and table tennis.

Unlike other editions, the participation of the Neuquén delegation will be financed with provincial resources. It is a great investment that will be made by decision of our governor to guarantee the presence of Neuquén in the Games“, highlighted the Minister of Human Development, Local Governments and Women, Juliet Corroza.

He added that “Girls, boys and adolescents will participate in training, sports and recreational activities that improve their quality of life”.

The participation of the Neuquén delegation is part of the provincial government’s guidelines to promote sport as a state policy“, expressed the Secretary of Sports and Youth, Maria Fernanda Villone.

Starting from this edition, the contest is reserved for federated youth athletes, thinking about the talent recruitment process with a view to the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games. The range of ages, aiming at this objective, ranges from 12 to 18 years.
