The Kansas City Chiefs remain flawless after a 27-20 win at the Las Vegas Raiders and have a record of 7-0. The match winner is quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who throws for 262 yards and scores two touchdowns.
The 29-year-old also breaks an NFL record previously held by Matthew Stafford. Mahomes breaks the 30,000-yard mark in his 103rd NFL game. Stafford needed 109 games to do this.
Shortly before the end of the half, the three-time Super Bowl MVP perfected the record with a 16-yard pass to wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. We go into the break with a score of 17:17. The Chiefs come out of this stronger, only allowing one field goal and deciding the game with a touchdown from Xavier Worthy.
Hail Mary madness in Washington
The Washington Commanders defeated the Chicago Bears 18:15. With just 19 seconds on the clock, the Commanders begin the final drive at their own 24-yard line. First quarterback Jayden Daniels throws an 11-yard pass to Zach Ertz before the sensation occurs.
With the last action, Daniels prepares a Hail Mary throw – he holds the ball for a full 12.79 seconds. Finally, he fires the egg from his own 35-yard line towards the end zone. After a failed interception attempt by Bears defender Tyrique Stevenson, who happily waved to the crowd before the drive, the game equipment ends up in the hands of Noah Brown.
The Sunday Night Game is just as close. The San Franciso 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys 30:24 at home. A strong third quarter makes victory possible. In this one, San Francisco scored three touchdowns and didn’t allow a single point.
The 49ers have a record of four wins and four defeats and are tied in the NFC West with the Seattle Seahawks and Arizon Cardinals. The Dallas Cowboys are third in the NFC East.
