Although coach Mike Tomlin has remained tight-lipped on his quarterback plan for Sunday night, wide receiver George Pickens has apparently confirmed that Russell Wilson will make his first start for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the New York Jets. York.
A half-hour before Pickens’ interview, Tomlin refused to reveal anything about the plan when asked if he was ready to name a starter.
“I found that [Wilson] was good. I found that Justin [Fields] was also very good. I think we had a very productive week from both guys and the unit as a whole,” said the head coach.
