The NFL championship game will be hosted in Atlanta for the fourth time in history, and the second time at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The last time, the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3, in 2019.

The first two editions of the Super Bowl that were presented in Atlanta took place at the Georgia Dome, now razed, in 1994 and 2000.

The New Orleans Saints will host the next Super Bowl. The next two championship matches will take place in California, respectively in the San Francisco Bay area (in 2026), and in Los Angeles (in 2027).
