NFL: The worst is confirmed for Rashid Shaheed, whose season is over

The Thursday night NFL game between the Denver Broncos and the New Orleans Saints will be shown at 8 p.m. on RDS2 and at RDS.ca.

The prognosis has worsened in the case of Rashid Shaheed, who is forced to see his season end prematurely.

An absence of a few weeks was initially planned, but Shaheed had to undergo surgery on a meniscus this Thursday in Los Angeles, and this intervention changed the plans.

The rehabilitation period was therefore prolonged, from four to six months.

Shaheed leads the Saints with 349 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He is also third with 20 catches.

The Saints will have to make do without two key offensive players in Thursday night’s game against the Denver Broncos, as wide receiver Chris Olave also has to sit out due to concussion symptoms. Olave is second on the team in catches (23) and receiving yards (280).
