The last week of activity in the NFL caused quite a stir. Among the 14 clashes that took place, some players distinguished themselves on both sides of the field. Here are the highlights from Week 6 of the National Football League.
The Ravens are in control in Washington
Before the game even started, we were promised a magnificent offensive duel between the two quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson for the Ravens and Jayden Daniels for the Commanders. On one side, we find a two-time winner of the league’s MVP award and on the other a young quarterback with a bright future ahead of him.
The Baltimore Ravens won 30-23 against the Washington Commanders in a thrilling game.
Despite a hotly contested and close duel throughout the game, the Ravens took the lead at the end of the third quarter and did not trail behind thereafter.
A great Derrick Henry had 132 yards and two touchdowns! The same goes for young receiver Zay Flowers who also amassed 132 yards on nine catches, a career high!
The two teams now have a record of four wins and two losses and respectively occupy first place in their Association.
The Lions devour the Cowboys
A real massacre of the Detroit Lions against the Dallas Cowboys. It was by a score of 47 to 9 that the Lions won over their opponent. An almost perfect match from Dan Campbell, Detroit’s head coach.
Multiple tricked plays on the offensive level and a defense which only allowed nine small points against the duo of Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.
An almost perfect evening since despite the result, the Lions lost the services of their best defensive end, Aidan Hutchinson, for the rest of the season. The second overall pick in the 2022 draft was playing the best football of his career, accumulating 7.5 sacks. The young player is also at the top of the leaders in this category.
On the Cowboys side, the situation is not improving. The Dallas team now has a record of three wins and as many losses and is currently third in the Eastern division of the National Association.
For the Lions, this victory is crucial in the race for the playoffs. The Detroit team, despite a record of four wins and one loss, is second in the North division of the National Association behind the Minnesota Vikings, still undefeated this season.
The Packers secure at Lambeau Field
Speaking of the North division of the National Association, the Packers led the way against the Cardinals who no longer know where to turn. It was by a score of 34 to 13 that Jordan Love’s troops won comfortably.
The Green Bay quarterback also offered four touchdown passes and did not concede a single quarterback sack.
Despite a record of four wins and two losses, the Packers find themselves in fourth place in their division.
For Matt Lafleur’s men, each victory is crucial if they hope to climb the ladder in a hotly contested division.
Everything is getting worse and worse for the Cardinals. In addition to a series of poor results, the team coached by Jonathan Gannon lost the services of Marvin Harrison Jr, their star pass catcher, due to a concussion. The fourth overall pick in the 2024 draft will miss the next two weeks of activities.
The Bills narrowly win against the Jets
A match that kept us on the tips of our toes until the end of the match. The Buffalo Bills won 23-20 against their division opponent.

Star of the week
The star of the week goes to Will Anderson Jr. of the Houston Texans. The defensive end had a solid performance, accumulating three sacks and six tackles against the New England Patriots.
The Texans also scored a superb 41-21 victory against the New England Patriots. The recipient of the Defensive Rookie of the Year award continues his momentum from last season with another magnificent performance.
Rookie of the week
With Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting running back Rashaad White out with a foot injury, the heavy task fell to rookie Bucky Irving to break through the New Orleans Saints defense.
The 2024 fourth-round pick had a career-best performance with 81 yards and a touchdown in a big 51-27 win over their division rival. So he deserves the rising star of the week.
