For the junior and junior competition, more than a thousand athletes were expected.

Since the inauguration of the Creil Sud Oise Agglomeration dojo, activities have continued on the side of the departmental committee.

The town therefore experienced five intense days of judo. In fact, no fewer than 1,050 athletes paraded during the competition weekend.

“We hosted a national junior tournament on Saturday, then an excellence cadet tournament on Sunday. This is one of the biggest tournaments in France, and awaited by many athletes. And as proof, a delegation from Martinique, Reunion, and Belgium made the trip for this tournament,” explains the president of the Oise Judo Committee who is also vice-president of the Hauts-de-France Judo League.

And then, it has become almost a tradition in Nogent-sur-Oise, once the tournament is over, the registered judokas continue with an internship. This time, it was an international internship. One hundred and eighty trainees responded, the course was led by Jimmy Cadoce, head of the sports commission of the Oise Judo Committee.

The members of the commission naturally lent a helping hand.

“During this course, we also welcomed elite judoka structures, namely the Pôle Espoirs of Tourcoing, the Pôle Espoirs of Amiens, but also the Pôle Espoirs of Reims, the Pôle France of Strasbourg and the Pôle Espoirs de Martinique,” ​​continues the president of the committee.

Finally, the judokas also welcomed Maxime-Gael Ngayap, individual bronze medalist at the Paris Olympics and Olympic team champion in Paris as well. Maxime was able to work with the interns on the technical part, then discuss a mundo. Here too, and it is a tradition, Maxime took part in the signing and photo session with the trainees.

Note that the ACSO tatamis also welcomed David Larose. He was world team judo champion in 2011, then twice silver medalist at the European Championship, he also participated in the London Olympic Games.
