Jagran correspondent, Noida. The Noa Sports City project will now be presented before the Cabinet. The cabinet will take its final decision on this. Earlier, in the Public Accounts Committee meeting held in Lucknow, Noida Authority had given its reply on many facts. After approval from Manoj Kumar Singh, Chairman of the Board, it is now to be presented before the Cabinet.
Additional Chief Executive Officer Satish Pal said that the Public Accounts Committee is holding a hearing to resolve the CAG objections. The authority has so far responded to all the hearings and objections in this matter. Only the cabinet will take an important decision on this, which will decide the fate of more than 40 thousand flat buyers.
Here is the complete action plan
In the 121st meeting of the authority, it was decided to develop sports facilities in Noida on the lines of the Commonwealth Games. For this, 390 hectares of land in various sectors was proposed in the format of Noida Grand Plan-2021. In the 145th board meeting in the year 2047, Sports City scheme was proposed to develop sports facilities on 311.60 hectares of land.
In the 149th board meeting in the year 2008, the land use of Sports City was determined on 346 hectares of land. Approval was also obtained from the state government. In 2010-11, the authority issued public notice for sports city schemes in Sector-78, 79, 101 and in 2014-15 and 2015-16, land was allotted to builders in Sector-150, Sector-152.
