After nine days of the championship, SL16 FC has still not pocketed a single point. A dramatic situation for the young people of Liège, who had the ambition to quickly move up to the Challenger Pro League.
Sébastien Grandjean
To get out of this terrible dynamic, the Liège club decided to part ways with Olivier Krause. The young German coach is replaced by Sébastien Grandjean. The 54-year-old man is therefore already finding a new challenge, just two weeks after his dismissal from Francs Borains.
Course
Sébastien Grandjean began his coaching career at FC Lorrain Arlon (2022-2006). He then managed Royal Excelsior Virton (2006-2009), La Jeunesse Esch (2011-2012), La Louvière Center (2012-2013) and F91 Dudelange (2014-2015).
After a break of just over three years, he agreed to become Virton’s sporting director. But after only a year, his desire to become a coach returned. He therefore agreed to return to La Jeunesse Esch (April to December 2019) before joining Fola Esch (2020-2022) and Francs Borains (2023-2024).
