The National athletics tournament for the U-16 category, which was organized by the Argentine Athletics Confederation and the Pampeana Athletic Federation, took place on the Don Tomás Park track in Santa Rosa.

A Chubut delegation participated there, traveling with the support of Chubut Deportes and won a total of 4 medals (2 gold and 2 bronze).

The Cordillera Olivia Conesa, who trains under the orders of Adriana Garzón, had a consecrating performance, as she won three of the four Chubut medals in the contest, including two golds that meant national titles.

First, he won the 80-meter event, with a time of 9.87, achieving his first Argentine title, then he established himself in the 200-meter dash, with a mark of 25.80. The third podium was achieved in the 80 hurdles final, where she finished third with a time of 12.70.

Bonelli was third in 600 flats

The fourth and last medal for Chubut came from the Comodor native Valentino Bonelli, who was third in the 600 meter dash, with a time of 1.27.

The delegation was made up of the athletes: Segundo Guajardo, Gabriel Jaramillo, Donatto Jones, Bautista Álvarez, Valentino Bonelli, Olivia Conesa and Julieta Curihuala.
