O Vasco started the game winning the first period by 14 to 11. However, the Flemish recovered in the match and, before the break, defeated the Vasco team 14-8, taking the lead. After the break, Mais Querido improved its performance and scored 20 to 12. Finally, in the last quarter, the rival won 16 to 14, but Mengão won the triumph.
