This resident of the Rennes hope center, second year cadet, intends to make a name for herself. Indeed, Lou is the little sister of Fabien and Adrien, who together have won numerous podiums in Brittany and as far away as France. “The good results of my brothers made me want to follow their example.”
On the tatamis since the age of 4, Lou has ambition for the season since she is aiming for a podium at France D1 next March and hopes to be spotted to reach the France pole and be able to compete with the best judokates on international competitions. “I want to give myself every chance to succeed. I am very happy with my competition today because I made the fights easy, except the last one where it was hard to place my hands.”
A difficult final
It must be said that the final was played against Enora Baudchon, her main pole training partner whom she knows by heart. Very lucid, she knows her weaknesses and knows what she must do to progress: “I have to be more aggressive on my hands to create opportunities for myself. I’m also trying to improve on the ground, I actually won two fights there today.” And to achieve her goals she can count on her brother Fabien who this season became her coach and follows her in all her competitions. “My brothers are there for me. It gives me confidence because they know my judo by heart, that’s an advantage.”
